‘Who has the money to hire a wedding planner?’ ‘How posh are you – having a wedding planner?’ These are two questions we were asked time and time again when anyone found out we had hired Marina. Far from being rich or posh we even questionned the need for one ourselves at the start of planning our wedding. So we hired Marina for the ‘Make my Day’ package where she comes in at the end and does exactly what she says on the tin! Easily the best value for money from any aspect of our day, Marina and her collegue worked tirelessly from dawn till well past midnight and gave outstanding results. Even trudging out into a muddy farm field when the heavens opened during our speeches to close our marquee windows! No coat, no umbarella!! Amazing girl! Everything we had planned and described to her went off without a hitch. The whole day flowed seemlessly and in no small part this was down to Marina. Thankyou so much – you really ‘Made our Day!’

I [Steve] met Marina at BNI towards the end of 2009. The timing was perfect as we were already beginning to struggle with planning, even at such an early stage. It’s funny looking back on it now, but at first, Emma was extremely apprehensive about hiring a wedding planner, expecting it to be someone who’d be loud, bossy and controlling. With reluctance, she agreed to meet Marina, but after our initial consultation she said she realised how wrong she was to assume such things – instead she was excited and was already considering it a good move on our part.
Within only a few months, it became even clearer that hiring Marina was a great decision. Marina pretty much paid for herself almost instantly, finding reputable suppliers for us a lot cheaper than we had budgeted or had in mind. This meant that not only did she help to take the load off, but she also helped us to trim our overall budget. In short, she helped us to save time and money.
Extremely friendly and patient, nothing fazed her, even at times when Emma and I became stressed and worn out from everything going on. She even helped out on the day itself, assisting me, Emma, the venue, suppliers, the best man, ushers and bridesmaids with their respective duties, all of whom were singing her praises during and after the wedding.
One month later, I look back and I honestly don’t know how we could’ve done it without her!
I’m so keen to recommend Marina’s services to every engaged couple that i meet that i get sad whenever a bride-to-be says “no thank, i’d rather do it all myself” – their loss in my opinion (either that or i’ll wait until they find it too stressful and will then mention it again)! I truly cannot recommend her enough.

Marina organised my daughter’s wedding in December 2010. The reception was held in a venue that does not usually cater for wedding parties – so the level of planning required was much greater than normal.
Because this is such an important event, with a high level of investment both in money and the happiness of the bride and groom – It absolutely has to run smoothly – there is no margin for error. That’s why we needed a wedding planner.
The service level from Marina surpassed all our expectations – absolutely everything is well organised, we handed over all the preparations and concentrated on enjoying the build up to the day.
Here is an amazing example – Marina drove the bride and groom to their hotel at the end of the party. Hollie woke up the morning and thought ‘gosh, we’ve probably got a parking fine. But no, Marina had been round that morning and put a parking sticker on the windscreen – Fabulous!

We hired Marina in July 2010 to help plan our recent wedding. From the start I knew I had made the right choice when she got just as excited as me when sharing my ideas. She took my ideas and developed them into something I could have never created myself. We were on a tight budget and I got a fairytale wedding without anything looking ‘cheap’. Marina has an excellent rapport with her suppliers as did she with our guests. We had great feedback from our guests that it was the best wedding they had been to – this was down to Marina!
